We've made it to the one month mark...thank goodness because I don't know how much longer we could have gone on with the intermittent sleep pattern we were in. Just imagine, 3am and you get one baby fed and back to bed and the other one decides he would much rather stay up after his feeding and party like a rock star...in retrospect one baby is a walk in the park compared to two-whew!
We've had our fair share this month of diaper blow-outs, spit-ups, and inconsolable crying- the witching hour as we call it. However, we've also had our fair share of longing gazes at our healthy babies, laughter over their different personalities, tears (mostly on my part...as I'm still hormonal), and tiny successes like staying home alone for the whole day with both boys!
They are on the same feeding and sleeping schedule for the most part, but every day can be different and we roll with it as much as possible. Cat naps for us are a must...even if it's as long as a commercial break. Every little bit helps. They love to be held and cuddled, are great eaters so far, and are quickly learning that we sleep when it's dark outside!
Our evenings...lol!
Ryan loves to sleep with his head hanging off the Boppy Pillow.
Checking out new toys.
