Taylor has been counting from 1-10 for months now, but he has lots of tricks of preventing Mom and Dad from catching the whole thing. Last summer his favorite number was "2". Everything was "2", no other number existed. That progressed into counting alone in his crib when he thought that nobody was listening (little does he know that we're watching him on the video monitor). Then finally he would count for us, but skip 7 and 8 and go on to 9 and 10 (those numbers didn't exist for him for a while). This month he started using his fingers to count and wouldn't you know it, we finally heard Taylor count from 1-10 all by himself and in front of us! I finally was able to catch a cute video of him counting, but of course he clams up a little and doesn't get all the way to 10. His technique is pretty funny to watch!

Way to go Taylor! You'll need to teach Marie the finger technique. :-)
