Soccer Camp

With 3 kids at home this summer it was fine time for the oldest one to get out of the house and enjoy his first summer camp experience. Luckily, there were several options offered right here in our neighborhood. Taylor chose Soccer Camp and happily went off to camp every morning for an entire week 9-3pm (except for the last day when he said he had a tummy ache but still went anyways, boy was he actually really tired and wore out from a weeks worth of activity).

Five is definiely the age of independence as without missing a beat he ran onto the field without as much as a 'goodbye' every morning. He seemed to really enjoy each day (dribbling, shooting, retrieving balls out of the air, and passing), except for warm-ups - not his favorite thing, kids can be so finicky! However, he powered through 100+ temperatures each day and we're proud of him for trying something new.

We've already heard requests to do it again next summer!
